London’s all new Vegan Bakery
When people say Vegan Cupcakes will take over the world, trust me they do not lie! Me and my sister finally made it down to Brixton to go and check out Ms Cupcake’s new all Vegan bakery, and like the cakes, it doesn’t disappoint. The shop itself epitomises the 1950’s character style of Ms Cupcake herself. From its American diner style interior to its kooky retro accessories (Heart) it kind of feels like you have walked on set a vintage movie.
The best thing though is its vegan delectable bakes, cookies, cupcakes in every flavour imaginable. If you are anything like me you will have to wait a while to make a decision about which cupcake you want (that’s if they are not all gone by the time you do!) Take your pick from Ferrero Rocher, Strawberry, Coffee, Key Lime, Watermelon, Pina Colada, vanilla and the cakes…. Victoria sponge (which was sold out by the time I got there) but they did have the scrumptious marble cake which I took a few slices of, but my personal favourite is the Irish cream cupcake which tastes exactly like baileys (Gorge!).
If you want to indulge your sweet tooth, this is the place to go. In the very heart of Brixton market, and close to Brixton station, it is not hard to miss. Just be aware that you will part with a lot of your cash, definitely worth it!
